Arrhythmias And Surgical Treatment

Despite the success of medical and invasive intervetions, surgical treatment of arrhythmias still stands as an option of treatment. Mostly the patients with supraventricular arrhythmias consist of the majority of patients undergoing arrythmia surgery. The arrhythmias resistant to medical treactment, life threating arrhythmias, the ones that lower quality of life, or when there is need for concomitant surgical treatment for a cardiac pathology or when the interventional treatment is unsuccessful surgical treatment of arrhythmia should be a choice of treatment.
